Neil Roets
Chief Executive Officer
Neil has been a debt counsellor for more than 14 years, after registering as such in the early days after the implementation of the NCA in 2007. He is an outspoken consumer advocate and is regularly approached for comments on debt related matters by the media by the likes of eNCA, SABC, Carte Blanche, Mail & Guardian, Sunday Times, News 24 and Huisgenoot. Neil is also a practising Attorney and a qualified Solicitor in England and Wales.

Annaline van der Poel
Chief Legal Officer
Annaline was registered as a debt counsellor in 2008. She owned and managed her own debt counselling practice for a number of years before joining Debt Rescue. She had previously worked as a programmer and system developer at Momentum Life and subsequently KreditInform. She is actively involved in the business, with her focus being on the legal process of debt counselling. She also does interviews with various media, as well as various presentations and webinars focused on personal financial education and the impact of debt on consumers.

Pascal Sinclair
Chief Innovations Officer
Pascal spent the better part of his career in the Banking and IT industry. He played an instrumental role in setting and heading up the Standard Bank Debt Review Centre between 2009 and 2010, before moving to ABSA to head up the Relationship Management Team. He then joined e4 Strategic where he fulfilled multiple roles as Head of the Division, with the key focus on growing the company’s bottom line and managing the Blue Chip Clients' portfolios. He joined Debt Rescue in 2016 and in his current role, he is in a position to leverage off his relationship network as Head of Systems and Relationships.

Bongi Radebe
Chief Operations Officer
Bongi joined the National Credit Regulator in 2007 where he started in the Debt Counselling Department. He helped with the establishment of the unit and putting up strategies to grow the industry. He has extensive banking and consumer credit management experience, in various leadership positions, at both Absa and Standard Bank. He re-joined Debt Rescue at the start of 2021, after having been the Head of Operations between 2013 and 2015. His drive for service improvement is a core focus to improving the customer experience in his current role.

Frans Cloete
Chief Financial Officer
Frans qualified as a Chartered Accountant at the University of Pretoria. He joined Price Waterhouse Coopers where he completed his articles in 2015. After his articles, Frans obtained valuable experience as the Chief Financial Officer at a reputable manufacturing company, over a period of 5 years. During his tenure as CFO, their clients included some of South Africa’s biggest blue chip retailers. Frans joined the Debt Rescue team early in 2021 as the Chief Financial Officer.
